Our favorite Isle au Haut Mailboat, Miss Lizzie, is about to turn 50. She's running in a new service now, further down east. Our new boat, the Otter, will soon be ready for summer service along with the Mink. Otter is a Wesmac Super 46, bigger and faster than Miss Lizzie but retaining the top deck seating passengers love on a nice day.

Otter was financed by generous gifts from seasonal and year-round residents of Isle au Haut, by a leading gift from Friends of Acadia, and by Federal capital funds provided through the Maine Department of Transportation.
